Update: Just checked the DX site it says we need to call them to arrange a delivery....Yay! Visa on its way! Hopefully yours won't be far along

Hi, my fiance is from hastings too...he took the first train up there he got there in plenty of time your fiance should be fine.

update:According to DX London embassy received the requested documents today. So I will be counting how many days it takes for them to respond or send my fiance his visa... Hopefully that will give you an idea on how long to expect to wait

They told my fiance it would take 2 to 4 weeks. He paid APCO expedited fees and got the police certs in 2 day. He had the courier pick up the police certs and his passport today. He also paid for his passport return too. Tomorrow is a holiday so nothing will get looked at till Monday. I will let you know how long it took our when he gets the passport back. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Sorry to hear what is going on. We are in a similar boat here. The IO approved my fiance but he still has to send the police reports. We sent in the CRB ones instead of the APCO ones. Hopefully Both our cases don't take long to correct and we will be with our loved ones soon
