    Its 2:45 a.m. in Florida. I can't sleep. Getting excited, anxious. Interview is 58 days away. So much to do, so little time (now), so l little money. Will I have everything ready?

      Working on evidence, helping Amel with all his forms; Amel is working on medical which is on the 10th, updated single status, criminal record (he has none). We're both nervous!

    Ok.....by this time Friday I will be boarding my direct flight to Santiago to finally spend some time with my man. This has been THE roughest 2+ months.....I'm thankful I have this opportunity to go see him.

    Does anyone have a spanish version of the fiance letter of intent? I tried traducing the english and its getting really confusing right now :s

      I have one. I sent it to Amel in Spanish and translated into English. Submitted both to USCIS. It basically says:

      Es mi intencion, fulano de tal, casarme con fulana de tal, en los primeros 90 dias de mi entrada a los Estados Unidos despues del recibo de la aprobada Visa K-1. Viviremos juntos como marido y mujer.

      I was hoping to receive the letter from NVC so I can take it to Amel when I go on 10/1. At this rate, I will be lucky if Havana receives my file by the interview date of 3/1/12.

      Our consulate is anybody's guess. There is no way to guage a pattern so we just have to sit and wait. The good thing is that we can schedule the interview with the HAV number and we don't have to actually wait for the case to reach Havana.

      Chigs, that is what I was told at NVC. They told me it was received on 8/29, input into the system on 9/2 and assigned an HAV # and not I am waiting for it to be sent to Havana.

    it is the 1st of sept and i have yet to receive my noa2!! it will be officially 5 months since being received in 2 weeks. has anyone else had to wait that long? i'm starting to think its something wrong like they are going to need additional information/proof. does anyone know how to contact the vsc?
