Patty and I met online May 22, 2010. Our relationship blossomed from there. We talk everyday and have not missed talking to each other except for a couple of instances. I went back home to see her in Cotabato City October 16, 2010 and spent 3 gloroius weeks with her. That was the first time I came back to the Philippines since June 1984. I had almost forgotten how beautiful Philippines is. We went to Davao, Palawan, and Manila. I was able to submit April 1, 2011 for I-129F and was approved June 24, 2011. Patty has now been in NORCAL with me since September 2. We've filed for AOS October 25. She got her biometrics done November 29 and she received her EAD/AP card on January 5. Interview for green card with USCIS in Sacramento is scheduled for January 27, 2012. AOS approved Janusary 27, 2012 and GC in hand February 4, 2012. Nice to have a break from dealing with USCIS. We won't do this again until ROC in 1 year and 9 months. This whole process for us has been really smooth. Thank you God!
Received an update from USCIS. Interview here we come on January 27, 2012 for AOS. Hopefully, it is Sacramento office instead of San Francisco. I don't like going to San Francisco because of traffic. May be the EAD/AP card will come soonish!!! Happy Holidays everyone and God bless!!!
Hi Dindo and Patty, May I ask when did you received an update from USCIS saying about your interview date? Was it through mail or email or will it also be shown on the USCIS website as you check the status of your Adjustment of Status. My EAD is approved Dec. 28th 2011. Thanks and Happy new year
