    Can anyone please help me understand is IB 1 visa category different that other immigrant visa category? I received my NOA2 on 1/9 for my I824 stating my paperwork has been sent to NVC. But I did not receive any email from USCIS stating my petition has been sent to NVC. Can anyone please help me and advice when can I call NVC to check the status?

    We have our AOS interview on Feb. 2nd. We have made 2 folders One has our originals and the other one has copies. The documents that we have put our : 1) Joint lease agreements, Bank statements, Utility bills, Wife's car insurance, Life Insurance, W2s, pay stubs, Secure Credit Card, Tax returns etc. We did not make photo albums as she insisted on maing a scrapbook. Which i liked the idea and so far it is amazing. I am thinking if i need to put anymore documents. Any advice will be very he...

    Finally received the third email on my i765. USCIS approved it and it's in mail.. Nice end to the year and a very good start for 2012 as i have a job offer :)

    Hi All I received an email yesterday from USCIS stating that they have approved my EAD and i shall have it in 30 days. What about my AOS? We sent the RFE as well which was received by them yesterday and it says our case is with NBC now. Does anyone know how long will it be more before we can have our Interview date?

    Question: I am ready to send my AOS package :). However my wife she makes $880 a month as she works part time right now as a Vet Tech. I am amking around $1200 a month from my company that i operate here in the US. Will i still need a co-sponsor as we both make $2080/month which is above the minimum threshold of 125%?
