  1. I need some recent examples of timing for N400 processing in Seattle, WA:

    - How long it took to get the biometrics appointment since submitting the N400 application?

    - How long more to get the interview?

    - How long more to get to the ceremony?

    Thank you!

Hi! I was in the Seattle office. You can look at my timeline; biometrics was ~ a month after filing (if needed, the Seattle office accepts walk-in biometrics; once you got your letter). Then, there was a long wait from in-line until interview letter. It seems that at the Seattle office, it takes around 5 month right now from in-line to interview letter, and then another month until your interview. My interview was 6 month after I filed. The good thing is, if you get your interview in the morning, you can have same day oath ceremony.

What helped me tremendously was other people's timelines on trackitt http://www.trackitt.com/usa-discussion-forums/n400/1484925229/seattle-in-line-for-interview-scheduling There you can see what their progress and waiting time are.

    Good luck to you!

  2. Mmmm..got my NC yesterday but not my passport yet. Does that ever happen?

Yes. They send it in two different mailings. I got my passport first, and then 5 days later my NC. Give it a little bit time, I'm sure your passport will come soon.

Edit: did you get tracking information for your passport? I signed up here https://passportstatus.state.gov/opss/OPSS_Status_ip.asp, and they send me a tracking link once they mailed it. This just worked for the passport though, not my NC.

  3. I can track my passport application status since 11/25. And I did not apply for a passport card

I guess please add me to the list -- I submitted my application today 11/23, paid via check at the Richfield, MN office.

I didn't know they take the certificate with them - I'm like, "NOOOOOO...." - I haven't even had that for a week yet and they took it away...

I have not even updated my Social Security records yet -- but they said wait until at least 10 days so I guess I'll just have to wait until they return my certificate back, which could take up to a month or so... :/

Quick question: Does anyone know if I need to update my driver's license too? Mine doesn't expire until 2018 and I don't see anything saying I'm a resident or whatever.

Welcome to the team kittens_0117! :joy: I had to let go of my certificate the day I got it  But I made a certified copy before. Have to wait to update my SS records, too. And your license is fine, not need to update that.

Was ist hier los???

Könnte Deine Frau denn in Deutschland arbeiten?

    Viel Glück weiterhin, nicht aufgeben!

  5. Thought I had got the hang of waiting for USCIS to do it things. But for some reason I am incredibly impatient waiting for my Oath letter to turn up.

More so than the entire proces from K1 to AOS, removal of conditions etc. I would be happy just for them to update my online status.

All I can say is Booooooo.....

I understand that it's hard to be patient, hang in there. I always tell myself that it was so much harder to wait for K1 (at least now we can be with our loved one) and AOS (now we have a life, can work). Soon this journey will be over for you and you'll be a citizen - and never have to deal with USCIS anymore. So much to look forward to! :joy:

  6. Great to see most of my fellow april-filers making progress and finishing up the journey with interviews and oath ceremonies! Congrats to everyone! :joy:

I'll have to hang in there and wait for some more month, as my field office is extremely slow and I don't expect to hear anything before October or November :clock: . Keep posting your experiences, it's really helpful for the rest of us!

  7. Maybe my application is processed faster because I'm a student? I hope my oath ceremony comes soon after. Hopefully everyone will hear good news soon!!

That would be great, as I'm a student too :) I'd love that! But it depends on your field office - mine (Seattle) has processing times of 8-9 month right now. Hoping for citizenship for Christmas. At least I can use the time I'm waiting to study for college

  8. Hi! I've been following this thread for about a month now, but I got my interview letter today so I decided to post my details. Please add me!

    4/8 N400 sent

    4/15 Cashed

    4/20 NOA received

5/5 Fingerprint (early fp on 5/4)

    5/6 In line for interview

    5/6 interview scheduled

    5/11 interview letter received

    6/12 interview

    ??? Oath

    My field office is Cleveland.

Really excited things are moving quickly!

Wow, that is quick! Congrats!!

Would it matter if my case status online isn't changing? Because I already have my biometrics scheduled but my status online still says, "case received". plus, im not receiving e-notifications as well even even though i signed up for it.

Im new to this but I want to be added to the list as well.

Was eligible under the 3 year rule in January 2013, wanted to make sure I was good and ready to start this process.

Received date of my N-400 was April 14, 2015, I mailed it in on April 10, 2015.

Biometrics done on May 6, 2015.

    Currently waiting.

Status update online has not updated at all since they received my application :(

Jupeto and MiaPA, it's the same with me, my status still says "My case was received" since 4/20, and it did not update for the biometris (done on 5/4).
