  2. Me and my dad just had our interview last december 28, The Consul didn't tell us if our visas were denied or approved. But he said that our documents are all good and he just needs some additional documents, After the interview, they gave us a white 221g form for CENOMAR re-verification. They kept our passports with them. I really do not know why they asked for me and my dad's CENOMAR, but I remember the filipino pre-screener kept asking me if I am already married, (btw, I just turned 20) and if my dad was married to someone else before he met my mom. My mom and my dad has a 10-year age gap. But they're married for like 28 years. So I really don't know why they asked for our CENOMAR. On the same day, we went to NSO pasay and requested the needed documents. We were told that the USEM will be the one to pick up the documents from them.

    UPDATE:

We just called USEM last wednesday. They already got my dad's CENOMAR, but mine wasn't there yet. I was told to call them again next tuesday afternoon. We are still waiting. . .

    My questions are:

    * How long should we wait to get our visas approved?

    * Is there a chance that our visas get denied?

I appreciate your answers, thank you so much :)

  4. hi ok thats good, baka this Friday na kukunin ng USEM rep mga docs sa Pasay..:) goodluck... btw, wala pa visa nmin ng anak ko, hopefully we can hear goodnews this week. God Bless!

We just called USEM po this morning, thank God, nareceive na nila yung CENOMAR ng dad ko, though yung saken hindi pa po,hopefully this friday, makuwa na yung saken. We were told to call them next tuesday afternoon kasi holiday on monday. :clock: Di pa daw po nila ma resume ang reviewing ng case ng dad ko kasi wala pa yung CENOMAR ko. alam ko hindi po tayo papabayaan ni God. Hoping na you'll receive your visa na po :)

  5. The consul said he just needs some additional documents, I think it's because my mom and dad has 10-year age gap. I remember the lady in the pre-screening window kept asking me if I'm already married, I said no, I just turned 20 last january 2, she also repeatedly asked my dad if he was married before he met my mom.

ah ok ..did you try to call embassy today? any updates ?

We will call sa monday po, Goodluck nga po pala, Sana mareceive nyo na po ang Visa nyo soon :)

  6. Thank you po for your response, Goodluck po, let's just keep praying nalang po,

Yes your requested document will be picked up by USEM Liason officer this Friday hopefully (kung minsan kc di napipick up ng ontime hayyyy) Just like mine, I applied Dec 12...they just received it Dec 29 ...:(...goodluck !

Hopefully sa friday mapick-up na po nila. Ay, ganun po ba, di bale you're in my prayers po, sana mareceive nyo na visa nyo this January. May I ask po kung anong additional docs ang hiningi sa inyo?Nag email po kasi kami sa USEM eh, ilang days po kaya ang reply nila? Do you call o send them email for inquiries po?

  7. hi there! Thanks for sharing, since you just complied last Dec 28 for the CENOMAR reverification so Im sure that the requested document is still on process and every Friday , a USEM Liason officer will pick up the reuquested document from NSO Pasay...so just need to wait and after the USEM received the requested document your visa applications will resume.. So just keep calling and emailing once a week to follow up after they received the document..I'm still waiting for our visas actually...goodluck to all of us..

Thank you po for your response, Goodluck po, let's just keep praying nalang po, :)

  8. Hello po! Me and my dad were petitioned by my mom separately, IR1 and IR2 po ang category namin. We just had our interview last Dec. 28.

  10. Can i send my AOS package without barcoded cover sheet? I can't print out the coversheet, there's no option saying print out cover sheet, so i was wondering if i can send my AOS package without it?

I appreciate your answers, thank you.

sir, so this is what happened,

So, my mom filed a separate petition for me and my dad. My mom paid my AOS fee, i already have my cover page to send a long with the AOS package, NVC emailed us saying that they already received my AOS fee, so with my dad. We got confused because my mom haven't paid my dad's AOS fee yet. so we are thinking, how will we send my dad's AOS package without the barcoded cover sheet? and another thing sir, NVC emailed us saying,

With an immediate relative visa category, the Affidavit of Support processing fee only needs to be submitted once to cover each of the cases.

isn't means that my mom will pay only once covering the both of us?

thank you so much sir, hope you can help us. i will appreciate your answer. thank you.

  11. So, my mom filed a separate petition for me and my dad, i just want to ask if we are gonna send a affidavit of support for each of us, or 1 affidavit of support for the both of us?

    and another thing,

With an immediate relative visa category, the Affidavit of Support processing fee only needs to be submitted once to cover each of the cases.

    what does this means?

does it mean that my mom needs to pay only once, covering each of us? its really confusing, can you please expain this quote to me??

    hope you could help us

    thank you so much,

  12. My mom already paid my AOS fee, printed out the coverpage already. NVC sent us an email saying:

We received the Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment(s) for this

case. You must now download and complete the Affidavit of Support

form(s). Please visit the following website to download the appropriate

Affidavit of Support form(s) and instructions:

we haven't sent AOS package yet, we are still working on the documents to sent along with the affidavit of support. then, NVC emailed us the Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice. we paid it already, it still in process.

my question is. why is that when we paid the visa fee, AOS fee says NOT PAID, and it was REJECTED. what happened? if it was rejected why NVC would sent us an email saying they already received the affidavit of support fee? do we need to pay again for the AOS fee?? it's really confusing. please help us :(
