  1. You might wanna look your notice again. After CSC transfer notice, you will get another notice letting you know that CSC recieved your case. So if it says

"The I485 was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office"

that means CSC recieved your case and it is now being processed there. Although it sounds like another transfer to the local office, I think your case might still under review at CSC:)

  2. Its nomal so please dont worry.

You might actually get 3different updates on your EAD/AP.

1st notice; When USCIS apploved your case and ordered the EAD card

2nd notice; When your card was printed.

3rd notice; When they mailed the card to your home addresss.

and in my case, the 3rd update was on post-decision activity just like yours were. So Im guessing your card is on its way:) It will arrive via USPS priority mail which usually take 2-3business days anywhere in the U.S.

    Good luck

  3. CONGRATS! Was the RFE for your I-765 or I-485? USCIS told me that an RFE for a pending I-485 does not slow down/affect the approval time for a I-765 since they are separate applications.

My RFE was for I-485, asked for supporting tax documents.

    But the letter says

"The servise will process your Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization within 90days of the receipt of your missing initial evidence." So I am almost sure that they held my case till the response? But there are some people who got their EAD approved without RFE response. It might be case by case. MYSTERIOUS!!!

  4. It's okay Monday is the only holiday anyway.. I already called the civil surgeons in the area so I know where to go if ever.. And his dad has all the previous years taxes where he was a dependent in case its needed.. so whatever it is, it should hopefully be an easy fix. On the bright side, they looked at my file exactly ONE month after being transferred, and if nothing had been wrong, it would have been approved yesterday.. WHICH MEANS to those who were transferred to CSC, you could be approved a month after it got transferred!! Hopefully once we send the RFE response we can get an approval right away :)

Sorry for the RFE. We got RFE letter in 3days by mail doesn't seem like taking long to anyone, so hope you will get it today or Tue.

It could be something easier than you are expected.

My REFs asking for tax return (We sent wrong forms)

And my hubby forgot to sign on I-864A :bonk: what a stupid mistake hahaha

I wish you and all April filers the best luck :)

  5. Did they cash your check today?

No they haven't cashed my check yet maybe tomorrow or Monday. They gave me the receipt number over the phone though;)

Actually a few hours after I posted here, I finally recieved 2 text msgs and E-mails for both my I-485 and I-765!! Yay!!

I know how you feel it really is frustrated that all we can do is just wating...

But I have seen many March filers got their text and email in their 30-35days as well.

I really hope yours comes next!!

    ---------------------

  6. It's been more than 30days since I filed my AOS!!

I called USCIS and they said "Your case is just put into the system TODAY"

Seriously? After 30days? They just opened my packet? lol

And they also told me I will hear something by May 11th. I don't know why but 11th hahaha.

So April filers who has been wating for longer than everyone else, don't worry too much! You will have your turn soon.

  7. Hello all,

I saw USCIS website that says

"USCIS Reminds Japanese Nationals Impacted by Recent Disaster of Available Immigration Benefits"

---"Expedited processing of immigrant petitions for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs)"

I am kind of curious how this "Expedited processing" works on cases. I already sent my AOS so not much things I can do, but does anyone have any ideas how this work? Turn the paper to different brunches or so? In the fact of myself waiting for NOA1 for more than 2weeks, shouldn't I expect too much??

P.S. Thanks for all of your help for our disaster, that means a lot.
