Is there any fellow filipino VJ'rs here in Monterey Park California? Its my one month here in monterey park but never seen any filipino nearby.....

Guys do you know what clinic or hospital we should go to have a medical clearance to apply for a job here in los angeles? Im kinda confused now because our petitioner dont know local clinic nearby our place. Pls help. Thanks.

So sorry for that short information. Yeah i have my immunization record from St Lukes,meaning done with my medical. But upon arrival at the immigration they gave me a papers that is the result from St. Lukes and as i read it all along theres a checked box that says need for follow up 1week upon arrival in US. Now my 1week will be tommorow here in LA and have not recieve a call and was not given any papers where to go for follow up. Anyone like me here in VJ knows what clinic to go in LA for follow up? Pls... Thanks.

If the children are here and have green cards they will pay tuition based on the rules of the school. Most have in-state and out-of-state tuition rates. The best thing to do is visit the website for the school to see how long the children have to been living in the state for them to qualify for in-state tuition. Also see if the out-of state tuition is affordable.

The direct answer is yes, they can go to college in the US if they have green cards.

Good day fellow vj'rs....I need some info here from experience and knowledgable members. Can my kids go to school in community school here in LA? They graduated high school already and are in college in Philippines. Is it expensive for a new immigrant to send children for college education even just in a community college? We are a derivatives of my husband petitioned by his sister. We are a permanent resident i guess...so i wonder if i can enroll my kids to school and get an affordable studies? Pls share your knowledge with regards to this. Thank you in advance.

Our scheduled flight will be on October and our petitioner is the one who bought the PAL tickets in USA. Im asking fellow vj'rs who have been through this case like ours if will there be any problem / hassles in this case during check in? Our petitioner is not flying with us.

Thanks fellow vj's for the quick response...how about external hard drive? Instead of bringing our photos we are now starting storing our pictures in a hard drive. Is it ok to bring it in our hand carry?

I undergone sputum culture too. Dont worry too much. Just keep on praying,do things normally and you'll be fine. In my experience i did repeat sputum collection because in my first three sputum collection they cannot pressume if im negative or not. Maybe,in my observation the sputum collected isnt enough. So make sure to spit more than enough sputum. My first sputum collection was may7-9 then evaluation is may14 only to be told to come back for repeat sputum may19-21 then evaluation may 27 and i was assigned in group A and its negative. Yes i noticed also that most of the groupB went to DOT room and their folders are in red color. Orange folders are negative and mine is orange. God is good.

I was told to call july 21 for the result of my 2months culture. But told also that the end of the culture is july16 and that the visa will expire 3months from the day the result came out therefore i have to leave the country before october 16. Came july 21 i was so tense when i called st lukes and in God's grace its negative. Got my immunization last friday july 25 and my visa interview is set on aug 25 which is not very favorable to me cause i have to come back to manila again for the fifth times for the interview.

God is good all the time.

Im a derivative of my husband petitioned by his sister. I was delayed because of my medical and now done with medical last friday. My interview is rescheduled by St. Lukes on Aug 25 coz that's the earliest date open but later i found out that it is a philippine regular holiday. I wonder if it is ok for me to go back to St. Luke again and ask for a new schedule. Im from davao and as much as possible need to have my interview as earliest possible time. Pls advice fellow VJ'rs. Thanks.

It is this DS 230 makes me wonder if we still need to fill up new one...

NVC states that all our documents were now forwarded to the embassy and i wonder since our DS230 were filled up 3 yrs ago, do we still have to complete and fill up new immigrant visa form?
