    yeah.. but anyway we shall see what happen. We don't really know the story behind her. But I do believe that you must leave the country if he/you wont marry you/him. I'm just curious about your fiance if he petitioned you to come here. He should know what your capable of; just sayin like you both are chatting and you should know each other, and saying because you can't operate something or to manage/help his business, He wont marry you! sorry to say but for me "Love doesn't explain that way" then you added because he doesn't want to marry you now but you're already here. That means something changes his mind.

    hello, Kristinebelle :) After getting married you can get your Social sec if you don't have it yet. Then start gathering docs so you guys can file for your AOS. Mine too we're going to send it this week. I've been here almost 11 months. hehe We didn't file it yet so, I was out of status and not doing anything just at home.. Oh well, Its okay cuz I've met friends here in FL and not to boring. Don't wait until couple months like we did, cuz you have to do the medical again. btw, Congratulations :) Have a nice day to you.

    Hi. I sent a letter to my fiance in the philippines via postal service and she never recieved it. After waiting for over a month she went to the p.o. and tried to collect it herself. However it is long gone and no where to be found. It made me think. If I have to send important papers/documents how should I do it? Use an American company like Fed-ex or hire a courrier? I know there is scan and then email option but there are so many papers. She would be charged for each page she has to print. I have never sent a PDF file before. Not sure I know how. My next concern was when time for her to get her packet from the Embassy how will she get it if its mailed? She'll need that to follow the directions and schedule her medical and interview. Then, the visa; it gets delivered. I heard they use some courrier service called 2go or something. So hope no problem there. Just want to know what others have done in this matter. thanks VJ MEMBERS.     When my husband was sending me letter, cards, we are using Postal just the regular to save money and that time we are not rush. it take 3 weeks til I received it. So when our visa is on the way! lol We are just using pdf file. Some paper needs to be in orig. or if I need to send him something I use FedEx expensive but for sure that the very important papers are safe! and never be lost. about the postal what I did is .. I know when was the letter supposed to be in hand. I will go to the post office and ask the courier bcuz sometimes they are changing the person. meaning the other person whose familiarized with my name he already knows where our house is. no need to ask to other neighbors. just go and check the mail at post office if you think the mail she never received it they might change the courier and he never found your house or other some reasons! tnx

    it's depend on your Ticket! Look what does it say... POE- just take note that once you entered in the US country ex. for me going to Florida my flight was manila- beijing-chicago-fortlauderdale. So my port of entry was in Chicago! then I gave them the yellow package and they gonna ask you some questions regarding on what kind of visa u have.

    I was using hotels.com and searching for the best price. There are several within walking distance.

    Hotel Soriente ... can't beat the price, the quiet, and the staff. Stayed for 10 days in June 2011. Within walking distance of St. Lukes and Embassy. Plus you can get a nice BBQ chicken dinner at (Chocks to go) for 60 pesos at the little stand around the corner. Good luck!!!

    Most people who know me are just really surprised I'm getting married. :lol:

    I have had a few comments about being a cradle robber; but I've decided to just ignore that. We have a 20+ year age difference, so I'm also expecting stares when strangers see us together.

    A lot of people were confused that she didn't just fly back with me when I went to see her last summer. People really don't understand the whole visa process. Of course, neither did I before I started this.

    The most important thing, to me, is that my family has talked to her online in facebook and skype and they all really like her. She won them over just like she won me over. The people who really matter to me are just happy for me. The others, well, I don't care that much what they say.

    Yep, yep ... heard it all.

    Hotel Soriente is great for the pesos! About $40/night for double. Ask for Caloy ... or Larry the guard. Clean quiet friendly staff - just your basic basic hotel but walking distance to St. Lukes and US Emb. I just stayed there 2 weeks ago. Best of Luck .. Paul

    Do you give copies or originals at the interview?

    Dear fellow VJers,

    At the embassy interview, do you give the CO copies or originals of the Boarding Passes, Reciepts, ect...

    I worry if I were to give them the original Boarding Passes and Receipts, and for some reason the visa is not approved, then they might keep the originals with them and I am left with no original Boarding Passes and Receipts that I might need for a second round at the finace visa process.
