  1. Hi there,

There is one such line in my wife's CR1 visa page:

"Upon Endorsement Serve as Temporary I-551 Evidencing Permanent Residence For 1 Year"

    The entry stamp is:

"Applicant Advised of the Provisions of section 216 and of the procedures for having the conditional basis of his/her status removed"

I was thinking the entry stamp can serve as temporary green card before my wife receives the official one. But actually CR1 visa can serve this purpose. Am I right?

Anyway, can my wife use this combo to reenter US before receiving the 'real' green card? We are planning a trip soon....

    thanks a lot!

  2. If you'd like to do NVC Electronic Processing, you'll need to make sure that yer attorney is trained up to do NVC Electronic Processing,

    or

ask yer attorney to step aside whilst YOU do NVC Electronic Processing.

NVC Electronic Processing is optional for GUZ IV, but using it shaves off 3 to 6 months of wait time.

So, get back with yer attorney, inquire specifically - 'Do you know how to handle NVC Electronic Processing for document intake, for a casefile headed to GUZ IV, or no?'

could you pls answer my questions in here? thanks!

  4. actually I called 800-375-5283

The guy told me they are working on the cases between 05/16 to 06/16, consistent with what other people posted.

And he refused to file a service request for me (my case started in the first week of Aug).

Why do they not accept my application for service request?

I am writing to my congressmen now, I suggest all applicants are screwed up do the same thing.

  5. Doesn't matter. These thing get transferred all the time depending on workload. As long as you got your notice that is all that is important. I doubt your attorney will be able to give you a better explanation. Sometimes one is faster than another, but in the overall scope of things the difference is minimal.

    Thanks a lot!
