No, it will not cause any trouble, people move all of the time. He simply does a change of address, you are aware of the new address should the CO ask you about it, so no problem.

HI VJ'ers! Just want to ask about my fiance'change of address. When we filed our 129f he used his old address to all the forms required for filing the 129f . And now he moved and got a new address and our case is already forwarded to USEmbassy in Manila.I will have my interview this month and he put his new address to affidavit of support and forms needed for my interview.I am a bit worried that it may cause trouble about changing of address.

Change of address of my USC fiance , do I need to put the new address to all the forms required for the interview or just be consistent about the old address that was written to our documents we 've submitted to USCIS and just inform USEM about the new address after we got approved? I'm confused. Thanks

Call them the next open business day, we did a few days early and they told us to come in the next day and we were cleared for the interview. Best of luck!

I'm almost done with the 2 months of waiting for my sputum culture result, it will be my 8th week this coming Nov 2. SLEC gave me a slip to call them on Nov 7. My previous interview date was scheduled last Sept 1 but unfortunately i need to undergo sputum so I didnt make it to show up @ USEM and forgot to cancel my previous appointment. Now i can hardly get schedule myself online and thru phone , told me that I need to get the result first b4 they'll give me my schedule. Do u think they give priority to those who underwent sputum culture? and Do u think I'm NEGATIVE now for my culture as of 3 days from now I'm done .THanks and God Bless!

Hello Sis, I hope you could get a negative result then. Just wait for the result from SLEC, then if they say you're Ok, you can have your new interview schedule. I'm not sure if they will give you a priority date. Might as well call the US Embassy or maybe you could check with SLEC if they can do that for you. The culture takes six weeks because the TB bacteria grows slowly. The culture is a very good way to detect TB.

Please don't worry. At St, Lukes, very few people are actually found to have TB.

Sorry to hear that they found something on your chest x-ray. Now you have to undergo the sputum collection, the smear tests, and the eight-week TB culture. You have to do this to get your visa. The waiting is the difficult part. Hang in there !!!

They have seen hazed on my c-xray film and adviced me to undergo sputum test. I never had a history of TB and i find it so frustrating! Is it really necessary to undergo sputum test when SLEC finds the c-xray film suspicious? it really stressed me out now:( Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Think you cannot renew it after the interview as visa is on the passport and medical stamp too.. mine will expire sept 11,2012 but my flight will be next month so its still good to go.. you need to fly until october or else it will be expired..think better if you renew it by now but it takes a month to get the new passport this time.. hope someone can help you about renewing passport..goodluck

Hello Sis, just wanna ask, I had same case with you earlier, my passport was about to expire on Feb 2012, but, knowing the requirement of USEM of at least 6 months validity or before expiration, I had it renewed already last April and I just got the new one last month. It took us almost 3 months waiting including my kids new passports. I'm wondering because you mentioned that you used your passport number in your 1st packet to USCIS. I couldn't remember I used mine, we filed Feb 2011 and I renewed my passport April 2011. For interview, I would be using a new / renewed passport, which means another passport number. Can you please clarify on this issue? I really couldn't remember I used my old passport number in the packet 1. Thanks, Sis ! Good luck !

Hi Vj'ers! I'm worried now because I've heard that base on Embassy of the United States of America Consular Section - Immigrant Visa Unit Manila Philippines.

You must have a passport valid for at least six (6) months. We are now waiting for our NVC letter/mla case# anytime now. And my passport will expire on April 03, 2012, 8 months from now. I used my passport number when we submit our 1st packet to USCIS.

My question is, do I need to renew it before I schedule my interview or best to get it after? Do you thnk it won't affect our K1 petition on this matter ? I'm worried and confused now. Any suggestions/comments are greatly appreciated!

I have k2's ages 12 ,16 and 17 years old. Only the 12 year old will be travelling with me and 2 sons will follow. My question is , if my 12 year old daughter needs an NBI during our interview? I'm bit worried now coz I heard that applying for an NBI clearance in Phils takes a while before they release it. . Please help! thanks.

Yes, I have three kids 8,16,19 and we sceduled one interview and added them in the information block. I am doing a K1 with dependent children which I guess is considered automatic K2 with approved K1.

Just remember to have an NBI under any other names associated with you.
