  4. parents have not lived in the Philippines since 1970's. It's one thing for NBI to be valid at DQ document upload stage at NBI but by the time and interview is scheduled, it will have expired.. that's my clear concern.
  5. yes I know the nbi is 1 year valid. but that still doesn't answer my concern or question
  6. where in that link does it explain that the nbi police clearance needs to be valid at the time of interview? for example. NBI expires Feb 2024, DQ Jan 2024, interview might be who knows when...
  7. Does NBI have to be current and valid at visa interview stage? What if NBI is valid at NVC to become DQ'd but expires before interview?
  8. what was your service center? when did you file and when was it approved?
  9. My mother's I-130 was approved HOWEVER I need to file I-824 - not sure why? Mother is in UK, If I don't file I-824, she/I will not get the Welcome letter from NVC - or does it not have any bearing?
