    Thank you,

  2. Congrats on doing the 2-month dance! lol

I sent my I-129F today; when I receive NOAs, will they tell me what to do? Or do I go by what VJ says about the I-134 and other stuff. Just wondering how much I should be doing while I wait. Thanks.

  3. Hello,

Everything sounds really great from your end being received. Congrats! I'm excited because today our I-129F was sent in the mail.

Hope everything goes with for you. I'll keep watching your progress.

  4. Hello,

My fiancee from Peru and I will be starting the fiancee visa soon. Our first step is contacting a legal agency to help us during the process. Can you recommend an agency or did you complete the documents on your own independently?

    Thank you,

    Scott - Ohio

    Dina - Lima, Peru

We plan to start within a month or two at the latest. I'm currently looking into visa legal agencies to help us in the process. Did you use an agency and, if so, who do you recommend?

  7. Hello!

My fiancee is also from Peru and we received our NOA1 in the mail today. To keep up with USCIS correspondence I'd like to add you as my VJ friend. Thanks!

  8. Hey there,

I also received the NOA1 recently (today, actually) so I'm looking for information on the NOA2 and required financial information. Check out all this information first:

  9. Hi,

just another quick question. When my fiancee receives her visa, is it a possibility for me to travel to meet her and have a religious wedding and then travel back with her to the states to have the legal wedding?

  10. Hi, we're also from the states and Peru. Are you using a K-1 Visa Agency to help you in the document process?

We're on our way to starting the process and I'm looking at the agencies to help us.

    Thanks,

    Scott - Ohio

    Dina - Peru

We are also starting the visa process.

Are you using an agency to help you with the documents?

  14. Hi!,

My fiancee is from Peru and we're looking for some advice during our visa processing. My first step is finding an agency to assist us in the documents. Do you recommend an agency or did you complete the required papers on your own?

    Thank you,

    Scott - Ohio

    Dina - Peru

  15. Hi!,

We're just starting the visa and my fiancee is from Peru.

Do you recommend a K-1 agency is help in the K-1 Visa Process? It took my cousin 2 years with his then-fiancee' from the Philipeans because they completed the documents on their own. They kept getting it returned for simple mistakes, like putting "N/A" instead of "No.".

    So...

  16. Hi!!

My fiancee from Peru and I are starting the visa real soon. She has been asking if it is possible, that once she receives the K-1 visain Peru, for us to get married in a church in Peru ( I would travel to Peru once she receives the visa) -- and then travel to the states with her K-1 and get married legally in the states.

Also, do you recommend a K-1 Visa Agency to ...

  17. How ya doin'? It's getting close! Keep checking the USCIS website as that is how you'll find out when you are approved

They will post that you are/are not approved and that paperwork will be mailed to you.

I'm on day 115 with California Service Center. Hang in there!

  18. I have so many random questions. I read on VJ that my documents in the I-129F need to have two-holes at the top and tabs on the bottom. So I'm going to look for a 2-ring binder with the rings on the top, not on the side. Is this correct with how you did it?

Also how will I know where my "USCIS Service Center is located?" I understand that I send ALL I-129F packages...

  19. It took my cousin 2 years to complete the process. He said it was from simple mistakes like putting, "No" instead of "N/A". His then-fiancee is from the Philippians.

That's why I'm so apprehensive in doing it on my own. Did you have any help whatsoever?

  20. Karyna,

Now that I sent in the I-129F, I edited my visa time-line. yes! Question: How does everyone create that little time-line at the end of their signature? There are so many different kinds - are they from different websites?

    Congrats on the NOA2!

  21. Oh wow, $75. I've been looking at these K-1 Visa agencies online and they want $800+.

I didn't realize how great this website was, so I'm going to do it on my own (with everyone's help in this community!) and shouldn't be too bad.

  22. So because of that (read below) I've got more questions for you.

When I receive the NOAs, will they tell me what to do? Or do I go by what VJ says about the I-134 and other stuff. (some of it is kinda vague) Just wondering how much I should be doing while I wait. Thanks!

  23. So I've put together all my evidence, including a "letter of verification" from the mission trip organization my fiancee and I worked for in Peru.

My question now is on the birth certificate & passport.

Birth Certificate: Photocopy, Front & Back

Passport: Photocopy: Every page? Or just Photo-page and pages with stamps?

  24. Thanks,

Yeah, the people on this site has been really great. I'm really glad I just jumped in instead of using a lawyer. Lots of patience.. I was waiting a year to find a lawyer and make enough money. Now I'm finally starting the visa and using Visa Journey & a cosponsor. We are DONE waiting! At least this way there is a light at the end of the tunnel. :)

    Thx for the c...

  25. That was really exciting to hear that your interview went well!

My fiancee is from Lima, Peru and I am looking for advice when we start a visa soon.

My question is: Did you use a legal agency to help you during the visa process?

    Thank you,

    Scott - Ohio

    Dina - Lima, Peru
