      WOW THAT'S GREAT!! I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THE INTERVIEW. I AM A U.S. CITIZEN FILED AN I-130 AND APPROVED. WORKING ON OTHER FORMS BUT MY CURRENT LOCATION SAYS A ONE YEAR WAIT JUST FOR AN APPT. TIME. WE WANT TO VISIT CANADA AND AM WONDERING THE PROCESS OR POSSIBILITY OF DOING OUR VISA APPOINTMENT THERE AND WHAT THE REQUIREMENTS ARE TO DO THAT. THANK YOU!!!

      Thanks Saylin and Kimsue. Angelbaby i am a Canadian permanent resident and that is why i had my interview here. I am not sure if you can get an interview here on a vistor's visa. I suggest you post on a seperate forum and maybe someone can have an answer for you. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

    "Tik tok" interview is coming closer every day. Glad it is during the summer and the worse thing that could happen is rain, which i dont mind. It would be miserable if i had to do an interviewin the winter and have to go stand out in the cold.

    Just got back from the medical. All went pretty fast and efficiently, loved the service at Medisys. Now for the interview!!!

      Medisys is great, isn't it? I was happy with the process (minus the blood test part as I hate needles).

      t sure is, got me thinking hard about becoming a doctor, they all looked to smart! :D

      Oh, next week, good luck! And I definitely think it's a good idea to get the medical done asap just in case if there's any problems. That's why I had mine scheduled really fast after I got my interview date. And is it allowed to have someone else besides you pick up your results? Cause they asked for ID when I went to pick my results up.

      Yes i was thinking the same thing about doing it ASAP why i book for next week Wednesday. If i can't get it picked up for me then i will just pay for it to be mailed to me as that will cost less than travelling again to Montreal.

      You can always pick it up the morning of your interview. I know they can hold it for you if needed.

    Finally, Interview June 27th!!! In full preparation mode now. Counting on the mercy of God for this one as well. He has done good for me so far, hope he keeps at it :-)

    Yay, no Gov't shutdown. Need NVC to hurry up and get my case out of there before they change their minds!

      Even if you left NVC and there was a gov't shutdown, you might still be affected as US Embassies and Consulates could close too.

      I know this, but seeing that the govt brokered a deal for the next six months at least i should be safe, fingers crossed.
