I have never seen a more controversial relationship in my LIFE!!! Is this just a dominican thing or do other countries/nationalities experience this too? Everyone has something to say but no proof to show...I'm getting really fed up with this...they are just pushing me away...

I don't pay any mind to it but when certain people come in my face about it it just aggravates me. I am very quick to shut people down as soon as they start with the negativity though. I'm sure it happens in many cultures but there is nothing like Dominicans lol...pero si lari a mi nadie me mantiene asi que hablen por 3 bocas si las tienen lol

Now waiting for NVC to receive our petition in order to get our SDO number...is it safe to assume that if nothing goes wrong, that it will take a month for me to get a date in sdo?

Called VS and they said my case is at the consulate! I guess now it's time for stalking lol, if I don't hear anything this week I will just wait until the 15th when I know they assign dates.

It's only been a month but everyday I check with the hope of some miracle happening...I can't stand this distance any longer. Sometimes I feel like jumping on the next flight out of here and just being with him. We will be together again in 49 days but thinking that I will have to leave him once again is a horrible thought. The only thing that keeps the hope alive is that God willing next time will be the last time I will have to leave his side. I miss him so much...

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I know that we are all in this together and that it won't be forever! Yesterday was just one of those days where nothing seemed to help the emptiness and the fact that he is sick did not make it any better. He is better today and that makes me feel all the better myself!

wow a whole month!! you are doing it BIG chica lol. oh yeah we're meeting up how cld i forget?!! lol...funny story about what u just said...last time i was there in november was a short 4 day trip. i resented having to leave and got mad and took it out on him...wasnt expecting that to happen but the oddest things happen when u r crazy in luv. keep ur head up..

Update: Finally getting together the documents they asked for more than a MONTH ago, yes a month! It should be ready to send out Monday and then we wair again. They already have all these papers but I guess they want to see if fiancee would try and change any of the documents.

Thanks to everyone! I cannot move out there as I cannot lose my job. I want to go visit but I don't have the means right now. I am so upset with so many things and so many people right now. Everyday it just gets harder. This is the longest we've gone without seen each other and God knows the distance is taking its toll. IDK what else to do, I don't even think I know how to be patient anymore. Everyone that has screwed us along the way that has made the wait even longer.

I never really post anything about it either....maybe some indirects, like "20 days" or something like that but everyone always thinks its when I'm going to visit him again...jejeje. Isn't that some sad SH%$ that people are so damn nosy and full of hate that you can't even brag about your accomplishments with this!!! Urrrgggg!

Kinda jealous of CSC filers lol...it's ok though because our time will come when the time is right! In exactly 1 month I will be running around like a chicken w/o a head trying to make sure i have everything I need...Let's hope I pack b4 hand and not the night b4 I leave like last time lol
