  1. Good morning my fellow VJers,

I have a little situation right now and I would like to know what you all think is the best thing for me to do. I am currently putting together my evidence for our interview on April 26th and I have started thinking that while I may have a lot of stuff I am not sure that I have enough. My fiance and I have been together since March 2008. We met in the Turks and Caicos Islands where we were both living at the time and we spent the majority of our relationship together there. We have a beautiful son who was born on June 15, 2009 in D.R. and he is now 2 years old. In March 2011 we decided to move to Miami but we had to go to D.R. first so that we could apply for my son's US passport (we got it) and figure out how I would file for her because I had no clue what to do (I knew nothing of VJ back then and I wish I did). Now here is where things get a little crazy. We used to take a lot of pictures, talk on the phone for hours, and we practically lived together until we officially moved in together in 2010 but I have switched phones so many times (don't have the memory cards anymore) that the first two years of our relationship are kind of lost in the wind. Most of the things that I have now starts around 2010. I have over 400 pages of Facebook chats, over 300 pages of msn chats, over 200 pictures (I have some before 2010), a few emails (she doesn't like emails), her engagement ring, and videos (don't know how they would see them). I don't have any call logs or text messages because we moved and I don't have any Western Union receipts even though I have sent her money (didn't know the receipts would be needed). I am wondering if this sounds like enough proof or does it sound like we are lacking in this area???? I would also like to know how I should go about organizing all of this stuff considering the fact that I want things to be neat and very organized? Any help with all of this would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you have more than enough evidence. Like people said before make sure to bring your child's birth certificate. For my interview all they asked was to see my children's birth certificate. They didn't ask to see any other proof and didn't ask us any questions and that was it we were approved. But as long as you have proof for them to look at in case they do ask for it and your child's birth certificate I think you will have no problems. Good luck!! Hope everything goes well.
