    I leave tomorrow for my medical appointment and interview. I have a big accordion case full of K1 stuff and I hope they let that through their security. Finally getting to the last leg of this long process. Not looking forward to the scramble that is AOS, but I'm getting there. Anyone else still waiting for an interview date or am I the last Decemberite?

    Hi Christine + Blake, I'm not sure but I think you don't need Ds-160 only DS-156 and DS-156K.

    Lise (and anyone else really) I'm worried I don't have the right printout for my confirmation of doing the DS 160 form online. Is there any way you can show me or describe to me what you guys have? Mine is just one page with my photo and a barcode and stuff on it.. hmmm..

    Really thank you for your help, very useful information. But still I have no idea whether you need are the only a form DS-156 and DS-230. Is there anything else?helpsmilie.gif

    *Two weeks after you receive the NOA2 you can contact the NVC to see if they have received your approved I-129F. You can contact them at 603 334-0700. Their homepage is here. Welcome to the US Department of State! Things move much faster now :).

    Mari, We are with you and praying for the health of Kadir's father.

    Thanks for the good advice. I looked at the website of the embassy what documents are needed to package 3, and unfortunately there is no specific information. I found the DS-156, DS-230 and nothing besides. Is it just these two forms ?

    On Tuesday 26/07 I will have a medical test ,Yupiii !!!

    YEAH MARCIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now my sweet friend , all you have to do is prep your packet 3 (and you can print that off your embassy website to start drafting up the information). MAKE 4- 6 final copies because some of the DS forms are required in duplicate as per instructions. Be sure to see your embassy specifics!!!

    Marcia, I want to acknowledge you for your patience through this entire process... I know all too well that distance and time are emotionally & mentally taxing! In fact, I'm sure we all can relate to this. But you're so good spirited that if anyone deserves to get moved through NVC quickly, it's you.

    Why is it more than a month since RFE reply and no NOA2?

    We are on the same boat but we applied on December. This waiting is very stressful. Good luck to still waiting.

    It has now been a month since USCIS received our reply to the RFE and still no NOA2. Why do some people

    get the NOA2 within a week of RFE reply and our case has not even been looked at yet? This process is so

    crazy and unfair, that if I think about it too much, I will go insane. It just doesn't make any sense at

    all. I have visited my fiance 10 times in the past 15 months. I will be going for an 11th time next week.

    I am a professional who makes about 20 times the minimum required income. I have been divorced for more than

    4 years now. My fiance has never been married and she has no children. I have no children. I am 47 and she is

    33. We are both healthy. There is absolutely no reason for USCIS to be taking this long on our case. We applied

    on Nov. 12, 2010. It is now more than 8 months and still no NOA2! I am just really getting pissed off at this

    point. I am by nature, a very patient person, but this process is really testing my patience. The RFE was asking

    for our letter of intent to marry, which we already had in the original petition! This experience has changed my

    entire opinion of our government. I used to be a very liberal person, who believed our government was working on

    our behalf for the most part. Now I am bitter and getting more conservative everyday. I went through my last 10

    years of tax returns and added up what I have paid in taxes over the past decade. It is more than $1.4 million.

    I feel like my government is screwing me over right now and it is just pissing me off. I am trying very hard to

    keep a positive attitude and remain calm, but I am starting to lose it.

    Piefre, We are too still waiting for Noa2. And I'm afraid to wait for 60 days. I stopped checking back here because, unfortunately, is not pleasant to look like everyone else are nearing completion and we are still stand in the place.

    I'm one of the few Decemberites still waiting for their NOA2 so I wish I was making plans to go in for my medical or interview. Instead I'm still waiting to see if my petition fell behind the fridge in the lunchroom or something. We got an RFE acknowledgement from VSC in mid May. In a few days, it'll be one full month since they acknowledged that they got our RFE response. We missed one checkbox on our forms. I'm really sad that one silly mistake sets us back a month and probably more because Vermont is not approving RFEs at any sort of logical pace. And I am always afraid that they have forgotten about us and will never approve us. I guess that's a lesson learned for us to always check and recheck our paperwork until our eyes bleed because it is a really crappy feeling to be left behind.

    Are any other Decemberites waiting on RFE responses still checking this thread? Or Decemberites who haven't heard anything regarding their petition yet?

    U&I Congratulations !!! and now maybe will be time for us

    I just can't believe this :D Mari...your juju really worked...my hands are shaking as I am typing this...I just got a text from USCIS that our case has been approved and that they have sent hardcopy of NOA2 in mail...thanks to all of you for words of support...now the just few more (L) days for me to reunite with my love... (L) God is great.
