    Is there any way to expedite a marriage certificate here in California?

      the only way to expedite the release of the marriage cert here in hawaii is to request the employer of the husband to give a letter of urgency to be faxed at the dept of health for medical insurance purposes.

      Yeah, all the papers for my AOS is ready except for the marriage certificate. Kaya naiinis ako kase its taking up time.

    Alright! You have a month to enjoy the Philippines! Kainin mo na lahat ng Filipino food na [wedeng kainin. Kaka-miss. Spend a lot of time with your family too. Our wedding is on the 2nd of Sept. :)

    Anyone know an affordable civil surgeon around the Lakewood/Long Beach area here in California? Or anything near the place. Would appreciate any help. :)

      ..is familiar with it and will not insist on getting you through another medical exam. I found one my 4th call and they just needed me to fax in my vaccine records, passport, visa, med exam receipt(though they didn't ask for it). I can pick up I-693 on Tuesday, and they're not charging me anything! :) Goodluck!

      I had to pay 30 bucks for the supplemental, which is not bad. Tapos, sabi ng guy, kelangan daw ng blood test para malaman kung nagka-chickenpox talaga ako, so that's another 20 bucks. Kung mababa yung result, kelangan ko daw ng vaccine. Will know the results tomorrow. Can't wait to submit my AOS. :)

      I only needed to be there around 2hours, including the TDAP vaccine! Didn't pay for anything! :P Hubby says I should not feel bad - because we're taxpayers, hehehe TRUE THAT! :)

    I just got here in California last Sunday under the K1 visa. Can I apply for Social Security this Monday, a week after POE? Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

      many say it's easier to apply using your Maiden name/ before wedding coz that's what you used upon entering the US. :-/

    You're welcome. Trust me when I say, after NOA2, time flies by really fast. So, best to spend as much time with your family. :) Hope you get your MNL number soon! I'll be leaving on July 17, next Sunday. :)

    Hello! Sa PRISM, wala kasing office yung CFO dun. You have to take the seminar, then travel pero malapit lang naman, para makuha mo yung sticker. Sa QC, isang punta lang lahat, kasi my office na yung CFO dun for the sticker :)

    All I know is that for immigration yun sa POE natin. Tinanong ko yung taga-2go na nag-deliver kung pano ko makukuha yung passport ko sa loob, sabi niya gumamit daw ako ng cutter, tapos gumawa ng straight cut sa ilalim, tapos i-seal daw ng clear scotch tape, so yun yung ginawa ko. Hehehe, Ako nga kita ko yung DS-156 form eh. Papers lang din naten na sinubmit yun. Basta take care of it nalang :)

    I went to St. Mary's in Cubao. Wala naman silang hinigi, just make sure you have your passport, and visa if it's available. Photocopy it 3 pieces each. Siguro if divorced fiance mo, bring a divorce decree or whatnot. Pero saken, wala naman hiningi. Got the sticker as well :)
