    Is wondering what the best way for my fiance to travel to London for his medical....a not so expensive way. Trains seem to be pricey.

      he is going to London from Manchester. We looked into trains and megabus....I guess we will wait to see what the price is when we book the medical....which will hopefully be soon.

    My friend is moving to England on a visa in July which is such great news, she gets to be with her partner....so why I am so sad and jealous? My fiance will be over here in July hopefully. I just love Manchester so much...

    Did you get an interview date? I was curious how long it takes once you have the medical to get an interview date. :)

    Is getting frustrated because I am trying to plan a wedding/honeymoon in mid August, but I am getting worried my lovie wont be here by that time.

      He hasnt scheduled his medical yet because he is going to send off the police report request Wednesday...so since we aren't paying extra to rush it - it will take 10 days to get that...and I think he needs the police cert for the medical. I think once he sends the police request off Im going to have him call and schedule it. And I know...I keep calling about the packet...apparently the Embassy has the electronic version of our case but not the hard copy.

    My fiance is getting his shots from his GP Monday and sending off his police certificate request! Its starting to creep in a forward direction!

      The medical takes two weeks to get. I think you should schedule. You just need to take the police report with you. Do you have packet three, yet?

    Everyone says that things move faster after the NOA2, but I feel like its still at a stand still. My fiance is still waiting on his GP to complete the police report form to send off, and his umminzation record...so we cant even make the medical appt. Good grief.

      Keep pestering his GP. Phone EVERY day. That's what I did and they returned my immunisation records within a week because I was on the phone every day asking for an update.

      i just didnt bother even using my GP as i know they are so slow. im just going to pay the money down at the medical, i think its about £85. i know its a lot of money and things get costly during this process but i just wanted to try and save time.....even if just a week!!

      I knew that the medical exams are good for one year. So, i already got my medical exams done in last february.

    I wish I could be with my sweetie. He needs me. It's so hard to not be there for your fiance when they are feeling really lonley and needing you.

    Our packet was delivered to the Embassy in London today! It's there!! Now the wait for Packet 3 begins!

      do you know that packet 3 is only a single A4 piece of paper telling you to go to the website. it may be worth going to the website now and downloading the forms and get filling them in. and yeah i though i was going to be the only englishman in indiana haha

    Well checked today...NVC has not sent our case to the London Embassy yet. Soon..maybe soon..

      congrats guys. just a heads up but get your police certificate and medical booked asap. i booked my medical the other day and they earliest they had was may 13th, and the embassy wont give you an interview until they recieve your medical results. just thought i would let you know :)

      I know things seem to be going so fast! He is meeting his GP tomorrow to get his jabs and his police report filled out...then he will send for the police report....im thinking he better make his medical appt tho!
