Have you done your biometrics?
where did you mail the packages to initially?
Provided that your timeline is not filled out, it is difficult to know why.It might have been transferred to Chicago where it should have headed in the first place. If you have done your biometrics then transferred cases without interview usually means you are approved and should be getting a notice soon as stated.
Good luck with the rest of your journey

If you are already making plans to marry in 4 months or so, I would suggest you wait, get married and go the I-130 route because the I-129 visa wont be approved before you get married and thus disqualifying you in the middle of the process and having to start over with the I-130.
Hope that helps

Like everybody is saying the chance of getting the tourist visa is very slim....the requirement is seeing each other within the last 2 years but of course the more the better, if you wanteed to provide additional "meeting evidence" it's best you travel home and see each other
Good luck

To the Glory of the Almighty God, It is a real blessing to report to everyone that our interview was a success. SPECIAL THANKS to the VJ'ers as well because the process wouldn't have been this easy for us if not for your questions, responses, reviews, prayers and advice. A full review will be provided once I return back to the U.S. Once again Thanks and May God bless you all abundantly

Yes the information is correct. He needs to obtain the new ECOWAS passport...it is now required for ANYBODY to leave Nigeria, as previously mentioned above Good life was only able to leave the country because perhaps he/she has an American passport....Good luck and congratulations

@ PrincessO, yes she was able to thank God. 1500N is about $9 US,
@Dare_Seyi, Wow 7000, it is true indeed, the people in Abuja are the one chopping Nigeria's money so no need for bargaining
-
Thank you so much, the people on this site totally rocks...
I relayed the message to her earlier this morning (Nigerian standard time
)and she went there to collect it, She paid 3500 Naira so I guess her bargaining skill needs to be polished
 she said the most helpful hint I gave here was the "dont use any phoney" because she said there were people ready to charge as much as 10,000 at the gate if you do any shakara. anyways, THANKS AGAIN
-
Thanks, I basically just needed an idea, it is my fiancee who will be going there so hopefully they wont be too difficult with her and not overcharge her.
