  1. Hi everyone,

I am filling I-765, application for employment authorization, for extending my permission to work while waiting my green card. I am possessing a legal employment authorization card now but will expire in Aug 31, 2011, so in the very beginning, I should check the box of "permission to accept employment" or "renew of my permission to accept employment". Many thanks.

  2. Hi everyone,

Just before my husband (F-1 student on OPT, living with me in USA) and I (citizen) are going to submit I-130 and I485 to change his status, my husband got stuck at medical exam. Doctor insisted in asking him to take three shots of Hepatitis B in order to meet the requirement. But totally three shots require 7 months and by then, my husband legal status (F-1 on OPT) will expire and we could not submit our application.

What should I do in order to keep him in US? Any type of visa we should apply.

    Many thanks.

  3. I got my citizenship through naturalization and am filing I-130 for my husband. Under I-130 item 13, regarding my information about citizenship, the certificate number should be an 8 digits on my naturalization certificate. The CIS Registration No. A********* should be applied here, I think. But for the item 10, do I need to put this A********* number there? But I already became a citizen 6 years ago.

Another small question concerning item #20 on I-130, since my husband is from china, his native alphabet is other than Roman letters, do I need to put his Chinese there? But he now live in US, not sure whether item 20 applies to him.

    Thank you for any help.

  5. I am filing I -130 for my husband now. However, on item 14 "Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as

shown on Form I-94 or I-95" under section C "Information about your relative", it confused me. The reason is that there is no a specific date for him to stay in US on his i-94. His i-94 only says that he can stay in US until "D/S" since he is a student hold under OPT period. I am wondering if anyone could advise us regarding this issue. Many thanks.
