  1. I see you updated your timeline, wow NVC got your approved petition and sent it out 5 days later, I called today and mine is still there, and they've had it for nine days now. Any idea why mine isn't on the way to Ghana. It's driving me crazy, and I already have the case number.

  2. have you called the NVC to see if they had your approved petition? When I call them, they tell me that they don't have any record of mine. I told them that my letter said that my approved petition was forwarded to the consulate in Ghana. I guess I me to call Ghana Monday.

  3. Congrats on your happy NOA2

  4. Thanks, It seem like it was taking forever, but I finally found out it was approved. Now on to the next steps. Yours will come soon!

  5. Welcome 2 Vj, It's pretty easy just click on your profile and follow the directions. You should be getting your NOA1 very soon, when you do, update your timeline to help the newcomer. Best of luck to ya...

  6. Welcome 2 VJ....anything you're looking for can found on this site, I Luv it, and you will 2

  7. I haven't heard anything yet, but you may get yours before I get mine, because CSC is working a lot faster than VSC. Keep me posted!

  8. USCIS told me today that I have to wait 38 more days to put in a service request, because my petition hasn't actaully passed the five month period. Filed Oct 4th =March 5th, looks like five months to me; this is driving me CRAZY!!!!!! they are working on Aug 21st, are kidding me.....Are they taken application, caz I can help them if they need it, Cheese and Rice!

  9. I don't know, but I know it's going to happen very soon for you, and I have a close eye on your case because I don't think I'm to far behind you and your fiancee.lol :)

  10. I filed mine the same time you did and I'm still waiting as well. I filed the last day of sept 2010, but they received it on Oct 4th. I'm still waiting but I did call USCIS on Friday, because the 5 month period has passed. They told me that the system was down, but they could see that petitions currently being work on were from aug 27 and on, so it should be soon. They told me to call back.

  11. Hello, I see that your fiance is scheduled to pick up packet 3&4 next week. I'm really carious to see how long it will take the embassy to give an interview, because it might give me some idea of how long it will take for me once the approval letter comes and it goes over to Ghana.

  12. Thanks steeel, I'm sure I'll have other questions for you, like what is the cost for medical. However, I'll stay in touch.

  13. 148 days and still counting......come on Vermont keep it movin!!!!

  14. Hi, do you know why it takes 5 to 6 months to get your interview in Ghana once the embassy gets all the paperwork? If my NOA2 takes 183 days to get approved, and it goes to Ghana and it takes another 183 days for them to finish the process, that a total of 366 days. I noticed the average for total process time has 208,314,214,358,184,but I have never seen the K1 process take 366 plus day.

  15. Why does it take 5 to 6 months to get your interview once Ghana receive all the paperwork? And is the case for everyone in Ghana.

  16. Hi, I see you’re waiting patiently also, it’s good to see that I’m not the only one.

I’m trying to get familiar with VJ, but I can seem to upload photos to my profile.

I’ll figure it out I guess.
