I see you updated your timeline, wow NVC got your approved petition and sent it out 5 days later, I called today and mine is still there, and they've had it for nine days now. Any idea why mine isn't on the way to Ghana. It's driving me crazy, and I already have the case number.

have you called the NVC to see if they had your approved petition? When I call them, they tell me that they don't have any record of mine. I told them that my letter said that my approved petition was forwarded to the consulate in Ghana. I guess I me to call Ghana Monday.

Thanks, It seem like it was taking forever, but I finally found out it was approved. Now on to the next steps. Yours will come soon!

USCIS told me today that I have to wait 38 more days to put in a service request, because my petition hasn't actaully passed the five month period. Filed Oct 4th =March 5th, looks like five months to me; this is driving me CRAZY!!!!!! they are working on Aug 21st, are kidding me.....Are they taken application, caz I can help them if they need it, Cheese and Rice!

I filed mine the same time you did and I'm still waiting as well. I filed the last day of sept 2010, but they received it on Oct 4th. I'm still waiting but I did call USCIS on Friday, because the 5 month period has passed. They told me that the system was down, but they could see that petitions currently being work on were from aug 27 and on, so it should be soon. They told me to call back.

Thanks steeel, I'm sure I'll have other questions for you, like what is the cost for medical. However, I'll stay in touch.

Hi, do you know why it takes 5 to 6 months to get your interview in Ghana once the embassy gets all the paperwork? If my NOA2 takes 183 days to get approved, and it goes to Ghana and it takes another 183 days for them to finish the process, that a total of 366 days. I noticed the average for total process time has 208,314,214,358,184,but I have never seen the K1 process take 366 plus day.

Hi, I see you’re waiting patiently also, it’s good to see that I’m not the only one.
I’m trying to get familiar with VJ, but I can seem to upload photos to my profile.
I’ll figure it out I guess.
