and police clearance need to match, and she also needed to cancel out her old passport. all that made since after i settled down. What I did not understand was, what did proof my sister have to do with a fiance petition. Thats the part that puzzles me.Anyway, she has another followup on March 26,2012. I told her to make sure to get proof of the canceled passport, and a new resident permit.

I got everything they requseted phone logs 233 pages for 2010 to Aug 2011, and I had ti order a Tax Transcript for 2009 and 2010, but they came in the mail last Monday. I'm all set to go now. I'm planning on being in ghana the day of her interview, because for reason I don't trust that embassy. It seems like they do a lot of things to discourage people, so I will be there to give her comfort, and hopefully flight back with her. Yes, prior to the Interview her forms must be filled out but not signed until the day of the interview. I have already filled out her DS-156, DS-156k, and DS-230, and mailed it to her. The only problem is that the DS-156 expired on 5-31-2011, so I have to wait until USCIS updates there form online, and then do it over.

Okay, she said the lady at the embassy told her to have everything ready on the day of the interview, and not to sign anything until then. She also has to pay her visa fee the day of the interview, and the medical and police clearance is only good for six months. You must make sure to get these things at least two months before the interview. Best of luck to you and yours....

Okay, well maybe you just have to pay on the day of your interview, because they already gave you interview date. I'll let you know what happens when my fiance picks up hers.
