question 11 about which USCIS office you only answer that IF you applied for employment authorization before
Filing fees:
$420 - I-130 form
$1070 - $985 form + $85 biometric fee - I-485 form
i-765 is free because you are sending it with I-485 form
You can write one check/money order for everything or individual checks.
good luck!

if you want you can go to ss office and change your name to your married name or wait until get your GC to do it, is up to you.

it depends.. I did biometrics the same day was scheduled (not walk-in) and EAD arrived after only 8 days.
with EAD you can get a SSN which takes 10 days and then you can apply for driver's license
good luck!

hello VJ members
just to share with you guys: I got the noa2 for biometrics on april 2 and the biometrics appointment for april 26, I konw is hard to wait but I wait until the day for my biometrics (april 26) and the employment authorization card arrived today wuhu!!! =) so it took for 8 days..my advice will be just wait until your biometrics appointment and things may speed up
good luck to everyone

fill all the forms with your married name. otherwise, you are going to have a headache and paying a fee for changing name in the green card.
I got married in Massachusetts and there is a part in the marriage certificate that says : name after marriage, so I put my husband's last name.
good luck!!!

Little_My is right.
I checked two good lawyers around the boston area and they were very good but once I realized my case is pretty straightforward I just read the USCIS website a lot and with the big help of this great website with great and helpful fellas,my husband and I saved money and now I am already half the way.
good luck and welcome to VJ

you are the petitioner and main sponsor, even though you do not make enough money to sponsor your wife, you still need to file the I-864 and your father will be the joint sponsor and file the I-864 too
good luck!
