Marc and Julie met in July 2010 online via eHarmony.com. We communicated via email for 3 weeks - lengthy, detailed, open, honest and insightful emails - before our first in person meeting on August 14 in Boulder, CO.
By then, we already knew we had something special, and hoped it would translate in person. It did!
What followed was a beautiful, mature, loving and respectful development of our love and relationship. By around age 40, you have enough life experience on board to know what you want when it crosses your path. And we both found that in the other. It doesn't take long - we both knew within weeks we were meant to be together.
The rest, as they say, is history. We moved in together officially on 1.1.11 and started the process of immigration, for Julie to become a US permanent resident.
