    Not good news from local Congress. They say our visa has been denied and to get an attorney. The one I paid consultation to won't help because of low income. I have reached the point where I can't live anymore. I just want to die.

      Please find an attorney, and fight for your husband. I've heard that denials can be appealed depending on the reason for it.

    USCIS records show we received a response to the RFE on January 5, 2012. The I130 case WAC xxxxxxxx is currently under review with an officer. Your constituent should receive a notice of action* within 30 days.

      Hi Anas & Ayesha, we didn't get a RFE; our case was actually transferred to our local office for me (the petitioner) to do testing and interviewing, which as I understand it, is a stronger version of a RFE. I had my interview in Oct and still no decision. I had to report it as a RFE on the visa journey timeline because there wasn't an option for the petitioner's interview. Best of luck for your RFE.

      Hi sumonnahar, I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet, but on the message boards here everyone says you should call NVC to get your case number.
