I would say 6-8 months is pretty accurate. We took just over 7 months. Good luck!!!

As far as I can tell everyone (who is on VJ), who had their interview the week before ours is still waiting.

They told me 8-10 days. I asked if there was anyway I could speed this up. He told me that they only work at one speed, and maybe I could speak with the couriers about it. The couriers didn't really have an expedite service so just paid the standard fee. It is worrying that people who had their interview a week before us still don't have their passports back.

As far as I know, once the courier has it then it is delivered within one day. I am on a major time crunch too....need to be there Saturday. I think I have checked the website about a million times to see if it is on it's way. I am cursing the bank holidays!!

Yeah, all the holidays are slowing things down. I am going to go the minute I have my passport back...which will probably be delayed because of the holidays coming. Hopefully you will have a date soon!

Hey! Paul did his taxes too...I don't have a clue what it all means, but he assures me he will send me what I need. I am having major stress atm with police checks. Have you received packet 3 yet?

I was reading up on the medical and it doesn't sound too bad....except for the price! I am going to try and get as many vaccinations done before hand to get it over with.

I'm still trying to figure out if my fiance needs to send the I-134 off or if it is just something he completes and I take to the interview. Are you having your interview in Ireland or London?

Are you starting to collect your tax stuff? We just found out that we need 2010 tax returns...for some reason I just thought about 2009.
