I have my interview at the US Embassy Dublin for K1 Fiancee visa and I was wondering...
I know I need my original birth cert to show but do I need my fiance's too - he is the US citzen. I have a copy of it but not the original and he cannot find the original.
I see in the instructions it says to have all original documents of items supplied in the original I-129f petition
but I am hoping i'm worrying over nothing with this.

Hi, I had my medical last Wednesday 3rd August. I had no vaccinations records with me, So Dr Gleeson, said it was ok, and for most people in Ireland almost impossible to provide. He said he would need to give me two shots ( covered in the €320 fee). I pick the results up tomorrow, so Im assuming
he would have passed me for immunisations.
Hope this helps
Can I ask did you have to bring any medical records at all? Just wondering as I have my medical in 2 weeks time. Thanks!

Yes that is a long time to be waiting for your Packet 3 ! I'm sure that warrants a call to your embassy.
You could also call the State Department 202-663-1225. Have your NVC case number and Date of Birth for both of you ready.
They can tell you when exactly it left the NVC, and when your Embassy received and logged it.

Thank you for starting this topic!! I'm in the same boat can't get vaccination records for my MMR jabs. Was also thinking surely the 3 huge holes in my left arm is proof enough lol! This has put my mind at rest.
Also we got our NOA2 on Monday and I booked my medical with Dr. Gleeson straight away. I got 30th August so no big waiting list thank god.

I went from Dublin to Washington DC last month for 3 weeks and was not asked anything at all !
If you're flying direct to U.S. you can clear Immigration in Dublin Airport on any flights before 4pm, flights after that its done in U.S. , i'd recommend doing the POE in Dublin from my experience and what i've seen on here they ask less questions (or none at all in my case. Yipee!)
Maybe i was lucky but I was overprepared just in case. Had letter from my employer, payslips, bank statements, deeds to my apartment, copy of entire petition plus additional proof of relationship since posting petition.
In addition to what you have, definitely your bank statements showing savings would help.
Good luck !

Do you mean the inside address on the actual letter? I don't think that the inside address on the intent to marry letter matters, as long as the required content is there. On the one I did back on 2004, I put the VSC address on the intent to marry letter, and it flew just fine.
But I could be wrong, as maybe I just got away with something. I don;t think so, though, as I have not read one single RFE report here due to the wrong inside address on the letter.
Hi there,
Yes I mean just for the letters of intent and cover letter in the petition. Anyhoo my panic is over, spoke to immigration lawyer and he said either the National Visa Center or Texas(/relevant) Service Centre is what it should say but we will be fine. Hooray! Yes I hadnt seen anyone getting RFE for it either but just wanna rule everything out. Thanks!

This is not correct. Texas does not approve petitions. They simply do the intake and forward to California or Vermont Service Centers. Those are the only two service centers that review and approve petitions.
Hi Coconut,
Oh I'm new to this, but I was basing it on the four service centers indicated on this website here..
http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php
It says there are four: California, Nebraska, Vermont, Texas
Is this wrong?
Anyhoo my panic is over, spoke to immigration lawyer and he said it should be either the National Visa Center or Texas Service Centre but that we should be fine. I'm so bogged down with detail so afraid of any RFE that will delay it !
Good luck in your interview !!!

Hi there,
The address on cover letter and letters of intent to marry should be to the National Visa Center, where all immigrant petitions are sent to be processed once approved through USCIS Texas.
National Visa Center
Attn: CMR
31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914
Ref: http://www.**.com/immigrant-visa/national-visa-center-nvc.html
Unfortunately I only discovered this today. We have just sent our petition and I had the address for local USCIS office (Virginia for us) on the cover letter and letters of intent as it suggested on this website ... Grr. I hope it doesnt affect our petition. Does anyone know? Just have to hope and pray it doesnt...
You POST the package to:
For U.S. Postal Service:
USCIS P.O. Box 660151 Dallas, TX 75266
For Express mail and courier deliveries:
USCIS Attn: I-129F 2501 South State Highway 121 Business Suite 400 Lewisville, TX 75067
Thankfully this is clear as crystal on the instructions form.
