Ahla wa sahla! It's good you are on top of things with the situation going on. I just came back from my summer trip there a couple days ago! Unfortunately we did not get an appointment before the embassy closed; however, we managed to have it transfered to Beirut. The Embassy in Damascus will not re-route anything, we have to place the request to the Embassy in Beirut. Prayer works...

I am at the beginning footsteps of my K-1 journey. I live in California and notice that some people sent their petitions to the Service Center in California; however, on the USCIS website the directions say to mail the I-129F petition to Texas. Im confused, where do I send my petition? Any help and advice is greatly appreciated! Thank You VJ pals!
