  1. 📣 Im looking for folks who had interviews at the Montreal consulate on April 16, 2024. Could you please share your case status? My friend and I both had our interviews on that day and we are stuck in “ready” and “refused” status after being approved and have not received any request for additional information or background checks. Wondering if there is some issue with that particular date since we’ve seen others receive their visas issued with interviews after April 16. Concerned Thanks! PD August 25,2024 Expedited case in Jan/Feb DQ Feb 15 2024 Interview April 16 2024 8:15am
  2. Curious if anyone has observed patterns? I thought the ILs went out on one specific day per month, but I just saw a post from someone seeking an EB2 visa who said they got their letter on March 18. There was a big batch on March 5, so I thought there would be no more ILS till April. Thoughts?
  3. Weird - I was able to register and log in - but not make or see appts.
  4. I am so frustrated. We were granted expedited interview scheduling a month ago and still NOTHING. It's impossible to get a hold of the embassy - have we been forgotten? Is there anyone in here who has gone through the expedite interview process in Canada? Desperate for some information.
  5. Does anyone know if it's ok to register before you have an IL? Would it mess anything up?
  6. Hi! Has anyone received a reply when trying to contact the consulate? I've reached out twice over the past 4 weeks and nothing.
  7. Thanks - appreciate your sharing. Looks like ILs went out this morning at 2 am. Some folks who were DQ'd juuust before me got an interview. I'm curious if you've seen letters go out on more than one date ever? As far as the 221g issuance. Not sure why you'd bring that up - I'm nervous enough as it is. lol Thank you!
  8. Hey! Can you point me in the direction of this? Now I can’t find it and I want to be able to see replies!
  9. Hi there. I’m wondering if anyone has any info on the process and timing of interview letters when you’ve been granted an expedite and the consulate seems to be doing the scheduling as opposed to NVC (not sure if this is in fact how it works, but it reads that way). Context: • DQ’d Feb 15 granted expedite same day • Case “Ready” on NVC site Feb 28 • Montreal Canada embassy. Looks like non expedited cases DQ’d in Jan received their letters overnight.
  10. That’s so helpful!! Can you share the thread please? Details are below. I did see just now that in the first approval from NVC it did say it could take up to 2 weeks for the embassy to receive our file. So I am probably just getting anxious over nothing. My status on CEAC says : ACCEPTED and in my mail I have two messages: Case has been expedited to post 15-FEB-2024 07:48:37 EST All required applicant documents have been received and approved The expedite approval notice was from the NVC and is as follows: The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in MONTREAL, CAN approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your immigrant visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in MONTREAL, CAN for their action. The Embassy/Consulate General will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview. If you have questions about your visa interview, please visit the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General's website at https://www.usembassy.gov. Regards, National Visa Center, U.S. Department of State https://nvc.state.gov/ask THANK YOU AO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLIES!
  11. Thanks! I haven’t been able to get any details. I haven no idea if the expedite changes the order. just to confirm you’re talking about the Montreal Canada consulate? Our DQ was Feb 15 so almost two weeks ago. I assume the ILs typically go out at the beginning of the month from what you’ve seen? somebody told me they go out around the 20th. appreciate your insights.
  12. Hi everyone, We were granted an expedite from the Montreal embassy, but haven’t heard anything in weeks. Our situation is quite urgent so I’m anxiously seeking information. I understand Montreal sends ILs in batches and I’m curious if the Feb batch have gone out yet?
  13. Hello! I am awaiting IL after expedite request has been accepted. hoping to be in the February batch of letters. has anyone received an IL this month? CR1 PD Aug 25 2023 DQ FEB 14 2024 thanks for sharing!!
