  1. I like the idea of a petition, but how about this? Everyone stuck in this black hole contact your local Congressman. I contacted mine (Trone in MD) earlier in the process and he got things moving. His staff member that I have been working with said, “Administrative Processing is frustrating to say the least,” but he inquires about once a month and is provided with a response. As you contact your Congressman, Senator, etc. quote how many others have done the same. As that list grows, sooner or later one of the politicians is going to see this problem, and they are the only ones who can fix it. The Department of State may be able to ignore one politician, but if a bunch of them gang up on the Department of State, they will be held accountable. This is free, and a very simple thing to do. Send me a message if you have any questions.
  2. I have not changed my address since the process started, but thank you for the response!
  3. I was expecting some form of communication when our application was processed by USCIS, but had heard nothing. I went online and saw that our application was processed on July 4, 2023. (NOA-1 June 22, 2022) The online instructions showed to wait until July 19 to request the RFE information be sent again. After filing the request for the RFE to be sent again, the instructions said we should expect a response by August 18, 2023. I know it's only the 19th, but 46 days have passed knowing absolutely no progress has been made. I noticed that a lot of RFE situations on here are usually moved to NOA-2 within 2 weeks, so hopefully once I know what they need, it will get moving again. Anyone else had a similar experience or any advice?
