I dont agree with you on what PAGE 2 says. The way i read it is that the I-134 Affidavit of Support Form has to be signed and notarized less than than one year at the time of your visa application.

I dont see where it says that the income tax returns have to be signed or notarized.

I dont see where it says that the income tax returns have to be signed or notarized.

Currently, the embassy accepts tax return transcript issued by your local IRS office. For more info in obtaining transcript you may call IRS national toll free number 1-800-829-0922.

The only notarized thing I sent was the I-134. I had to submit certified divorce papers from the court also

Reread Page 2 on #7. It clearly said notarized copy tax returns.

NO "Submit your petitioner's most recent U.S. Federal Income Tax Return (Form 1040) and Wasge and Tax Statements (W-2)."

did you notice the period at the end? that is the end of that subject.

"A Completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form (Signed and notarized less than one year at the time of your visa application) will be useful tot he consular officer to evaluate your petitioner's ability to be financially responsible for you."

That is what it says, i dont know where you did learn how to read??

Sometimes the information here is false and causes others alot of trouble and heartache.

Guys, guys, let's avoid sarcasm here. Here is where the confusion lies, I think. Mai95, you read the "public charge" document that I scanned which did not have a page 2. That was my fault. I did not realize that there was a page 2 at the back. On the other hand Mac was reading the document scanned by JoyTim which is the complete one. Mai95, you may want to check out "Manila Packet 4 Contents" posted by JoyTim. As I've said, that is the complete one and that is where Mac based his question.

While it is true that some info posted here may not be correct, someone always catches the error and corrects it the way that we are now trying to rectify whatever misconception was created here. That's what we are here for, to help each other.

In Page 2, Letter G of:

... under OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERTIFICATE ....

Situation: beneficiary stayed for 7 months in the US (legally due to intra-company transfer)

Question: does she need a Police Certicate from the US?

I am thinking that there is no need, since we are dealing with the US embassy and they would have access to such information .. but would really like to know for sure ....
