i am currently in the UK as i am being seen due to a illness. i was wondering will this affect my chances of getting my coditions lifted on my resident card?

and also would it be a good idea to send a doctors note to the INS stating this

i have been here in the uk for about 2 weeks and i have been diagnosed with bipolar, and am getting treatment here for it and not sure how long the treatment will take, due to the fact that i was not getting the correct treatment back home in arkansas
