Hello Friends

I have applied for adjustment of status from Texas and got a mail saying my file transfered to California center. Today I git the following email from USCIS. What is ths "pending"means? Did anyone got this kind of email or you have any info. about it. Thank you inadvance

Timeline

Firstly this has nothing to do with K-1 visa, it is about adjustment of status and should be posted in the AOS forum.

It means it is pending on a decision by an adjudicating officer at the california service center, one of two things happens there, it is approved without interview, or they decide that it needs an interview and sends the petition to your local USCIS field office for interview.

Pending can take a few months to years depending on name checks, hope you filed for EAD in the interim.

Fill in the detailse on your profile, you are AOS Pending NOT N/A and what country is your spouse from? There is no country called N/A.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
