hello everyone!

i was issued my b1/b2 visa (type R, entries M) on march 2001 and i haven't used it ever since. it expires on february 2011. at the time it was issued, i was still in college. shortly after i graduated, i got married in 2004 and have 2 babies now.

i am currently working in dubai with my husband. we both have uae residence valid for 3 years. now that we're both earning, i was thinking about finally using my visa. if my husband applies for a b1/b2, so we can go together, what are the chances for his approval? would it help to say that i already have a visa and we'd like to have our "late honeymoon" spent in the US?

please do leave suggestions, so we can consider other options if this doesn't look promising enough...

THANKS MUCHOS... :)

your possession of that visa does not in any way guarantee a visa for your husband. but considering that you have stable jobs in dubai i dont think there's any way your husband's visa app will be denied. remember you must prove that you have enough reason to come back to dubai i.e employment, family, property. good luck on your second honeymoon.

DON & SADIE

our story, basically (from Celine Dion's song:

Don't know much about your life.

Don't know much about your world, but

Don't want to be alone tonight,

On this planet they call earth.

You don't know about my past, and

I don't have a future figured out.

And maybe this is going too fast.

And maybe it's not meant to last,

But what do you say to taking chances,

What do you say to jumping off the edge?

Never knowing if there's solid ground below

Or hand to hold, or hell to pay,

What do you say,

What do you say?

Oh yeah it is love at first sight.

so far, our sweet and short timeline:

10/29 I-130, I-485, I-765 sent

11/06 I-130, I-485 and I-765 touched

11/07 checks cashed

11/09 NOA1 for I-485, I-765 and I-130

11/29 Biometrics

11/18 RFE1

12/18 Mailed response to RFE1

12/21 I-485 touched

01/23 I-765 touched

01/31 EAD card received

now applying for SSN...
