i wnet to embassy islamabad 17 Sep i needed to submit some dacoments i had as 221g..when i submit them the man ask me he need my passport.i gave him my passport and he gave me a small card and said they will send my passport via speedex mail you show this card to them and recevie your passport. but its one month i did not hear from speedex mail service and nothing from embassy .someone know hold long it take that recevie my passport

Your case is being completed at Islamabad now and it may be in Administrative pocessing as well. If you are a male applicant you will have a longer wait than a female before they ajudicate the visa. I suggest that you call DOS here in the states and ask for a status update or email the consulate directly. Being in AP is a dark hole from Islamabad and they will not divulge any information to you -- all you can do it wait out the processing and keep your token in a safe place so that when your passort and visa are ready for pickup you are ready. Good luck and stay postive during your wait.

All they will tell you is that your case is still in AP/AR. There is no

timetable of when it will be complete.

Keep checking for your case status every 2-3 weeks.
