Hi,

Blessings

I sent my I130 on 6/28/07 now i am now sending this k3 to speed up when it comes to interview and nvc processing. The cr1 is long waiting when it comes to processing after the approval for lagos, nigeria. My ? is i screwed up some employment dates and times on my I130, and residence is a little off because i lived between home and outside but did not stay outside for long maybe 4 mos within the last 5 years so how will i put this in order does it really matter. If i note the address will it be ok . I am just finding this out because i am being more careful on my k3 dont want delays. Also do you really think it will be faster since i filed I130 ON 6/28/07, 3 mos ago and now decided and filed k3 for lagos emabssy interview etc?.

Well since the cr-1 is 3months ahead of the k3, the interview dates you will get for the k-3 may be about the same time for the cr-1 but I guess its does not hurt exhaust all your options. While the cr-1 take longer, it will definitely benefi your spouse once they enter the United States. With the K-3, it may move faster from the NVC to the embassy in Lagos, but the adjustment status and filing for the ssn and waiting for the ead card can also take a few months. When I went through this process, I filed for both so I do not see the harm in applying for the k-3 also...as you already stated, just be careful and consistent the dates of employment and residence on there.... I printed out many of the forms and did many revisions to all the accurate information....Good luck!!!!
