medical for AOS for K3, coming through New Delhi

Hi, this is for anyone who came through New Delhi on K3 -

The physician there told my wife that she can not have a duplicate of the medical report. I am under the impression that the original medical report in sealed envelope is going to be put into the "brown envelope" to be opened by POE officer. Then what happens to that medical report? Will it get included in our file for AOS? Since a medical is needed for AOS, does she have to get another medical exam here in US? SHe was told by the physician in New Delhi that for her K3 they do not do the immunizations there. I will want her to have all the immunizations anyways, but it does not make sense why they are not done at the time of the medical before consular interview. I would appreciate any help you can give me to clear my confusion.

Thanks

That's too bad. I made sure my husband asked for a duplicate medical report when he went for his medical. I emailed my husband a copy of the supplement medical form that is needed for AOS and he asked the physician to fill it out and place it into a sealed envelope. His physican did this and that is what we used for AOS. We were fine doing this and received no RFE.

If the medical goes with the brown envelope at POE, I think you'll need to have that supplemental form (search the formus, I forget its exact number) filled out by a physician in the US.

Hi,

My wife came through mumbai using K1. She also didn't have any proof of medical although she did all her vaccination in India. In filing AOS for my wife, I simply wrote a letter explaining everything regarding why I don't have any proof for medical. So far no RFE.
