Hi everyone, I had a question and would really appreciate any guidance.

My parents received their immigrant visas just before visa processing was paused, and they’re planning to travel to the U.S. in a couple days. I haven’t paid the USCIS immigrant fee yet, but I’m planning to do so before they travel.

Will they still receive their green cards if I pay the fee now?

Also, I’ve tried multiple times to pay the fee, but for both of my parents it says the A-number is incorrect. Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so, how did you resolve it?

Additionally, I checked with my parents and they did not receive any sealed envelope from the embassy or when they picked up their passports. Is this something to be concerned about, or is there anything we need to do?

Sorry for the last minute questions. Thanks in advance for your help!

For Immigrant Visas they no longer issue the sealed envelope - It's all done electronically. Are you using the A Numbers that were provided on the I-130 approval notice? Are they the same as the A-Numbers on your parent's visas?

You should make sure that the 9 digit number on the IV that you are inputting is actually the A-Number. Are you using the number  that says "Registration Number?"
