Hello everyone,

My parents are scheduled for an interview (IR5) in December 2025--I received an email with a set date in Mumbai. I am trying to schedule their biometrics appointment.

I am using the usavisascheduling.com website (redirects from ustraveldocs.com), but I can only get dates for VAC in Mumbai, and those dates are in early November. It doesn't show any open slots for a location that is closer to them, such as New Delhi.

Is there usually more open slots once I get closer to the interview date? I was hoping to have them do their biometrics 1 day before the interview, so they don't have to make two trips to Mumbai. Or should I take what is currently being offered? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
