No idea what to do - lots of conflicting info

Hello,

 

Our case was approved and is on the way to NVC I think.  Our case status is listed as ready.  If I am understanding correctly, we are waiting for a letter for the consulate. 
 

It says it is ready for the interview “to be scheduled.”  Who schedules it?  Can it be scheduled now? Can she schedule her medical now or must it be at a specific place?  
 

Some sites talk about a fee, but zero information on how to pay it.  Another site says we need a ustraveldocs account.  This website doesn’t work however.
 

We have no idea if we should be doing something or just waiting. There’s conflicting information out there making this infinitely more confusing than it should be.

There is very little folks can do to answer your questions without knowing more about the case. I see you posted this in a K-1 forum. Is that the visa type? What embassy?

Is this from the CEAC case status checker? If so, you must have a case number from the DoS I would assume? If so, your case is not on the way to the NVC, it's been there and already shipped to the embassy.
