Hi,

Okay.. I am the wife of a K-1 applicant, we are not filing AOS. I do not need income requirements so we have a joint sponsor (we will call him Bill).

To my knowledge, as BILL is married and files taxes JOINTLY with his wife KIM, KIM needs to fill out a I-864A. (Please correct me if wrong and save me the hassle).

Part 5. Sponsor’s Promise, Statement, Contact Information, Declaration, Certification and Signature

^^Does BILL or KIM fill out this section?^^

I am assuming it is BILL, but want to be sure.

Only if his own income isn't enough and spouse volunteers to include her income.
