Honestly just wanted to vent some frustration to a group who knows the "fun" of this process. We had the interview back in January at the Guangzhou embassy for the k1 visa, and they said everything seems to be great but unfortunately there was issues with both police reports, one of them was our fault, but the other was the embassy since they were not used to the other countries documents (they even had to check to make sure it was a real country).

So we got the 221g with instructions and the documents sent back to the embassy with her passport arrived February 4th. We have seen the date last updated change a couple times but no visa yet. I know there are many reasons why it could take a while but still the waiting is just so hard.

Just be patient. I believe our 221g took a few months to process: Bureaucracy moves slowly.
