Marriage isn't in the immediate future but it's certainly a possibility so I wanted to clear the air about this. My Colombian girlfriend was a trafficked person and was pretty much immediately snatched up by Panamanian immigration. The attorney that I hired to essentially rescue her had filed a guilty plea and requested deportation on her behalf to get her out of the country and keep her away from traffickers.

Is this something that would show up on a DAS certificate? I've actually consulted an attorney who feels that it should not be disclosed on a visa application since the crime that she allegedly committed was secondary to trafficking for which she was a victim and additionally that there is likely no record that could be easily located.

Thanks!
