Yeah I agree about the bbc being one sided, but like you said they dont do the fear mongering like fox news does over here. CNN aint to bad, but it doesnt really cover anything outside of america.

I read a good article a while back about americans going to british news sites

to get a non US point of view.

I read the British news sites near enough everyday and its quite suprising what the US media outlets dont tell you, even about stuff happening in America.

has anyone tried the 7 day free trial of the live uktv yet?

Just wondering what you thought of it ?

Also do you think its worth the money if you do get it?

I have it cos thats about all i miss back home, tv here is cool too, i love The Amazing Race, Two and a Half men, King of Queens, Fox Soccer channel of course, Hells Kitchen

Might be worth checking your local PBS station - many of them carry a BBC half hour news program

PBS also carries Dr Who without editing or adverts....

Yes saw a trailer for that last night. Seems the new boss of BBC America is starting to get some of the more recent shows, not stuff 30 years old.

What is it you would want to watch on UK TV ?

What do you think about the price ?

Im not sure how long its been going, but i know they add things to it to make it better, i have it at the moment cos i miss UKTV, US TV is great to, but because im not working at the moment..waiting for the AOS ive nothing better to do.

My wife does give me a list of things to do around the house, but that dont take too long, she calls me her B**CH, that just cracks me up and her too.

Anyway let me know what you think
