Were you approved after the interview? Or the CO told you that you are on AR?

Some people are said to be approved but actually put on AR.

That's sad to hear. Have you tried to call USEM and asks for updates? Keep your hopes high and be patient, your visa will be delivered to you soon. Just always keep the "positive" attitude. :blush:

Sorry i this seems repetitive, but my wife had her interview on the 16th and didn't bring her NBI clearance (all she brought was a police clearance) . They said she was approved, but she needed to submit her NBI clearance. The next day she brought it them; it was clean. Anyways, when I call the consulate, they say "your application is still with the consulate officer. All internal checks have been done though." I don't know if this is AR or what this is. And they say "call back in 3 days to check," which I do and get the same answer.

since NBI clearance has already been..i think the best thing to do is to wait..u can follow-up too, so they will be MORE aware..

im sorry to hear this..but dont worry too much, a lot of delays are happening now for sooooo many reasons..like us, we're really praying to hear development soon...

Hi turtle,

Be patient I was in the same boat with your fiancee and was in AR jail for a month. It's ok she'll probably have her visa ready by tomorrow or next week nothing to worry about it's usually 3 to 4 weeks internal check before the visa would be released. Also, my husband contacted his congressman and I think it helped too because 2 days after my visa was delivered to me.

Received biometrics letter 05-10-07

CRIS email confirming transfer to CSC 06-08-07

Touched 06-10-07 (Someone is working on a sunday)

EAD approval 7-9 (CRIS email received 7-14)

AOS 1st touched 7-17 pm since transfer to CSC

I hope she turned it in at the correct window. Claudeth turned in her police clearance to window X or something like that because the regular windows were closed for the weekend and she was going back to CDO. Well it laid there for a month until I called the lady at ext 5184 and she went to that window and found it. Claudeth had the visa four days later.

Anyway, I hope your situation is quickly resolved and you can be reunited as soon as possible. Good luck :thumbs:

Still in AR since February'07... but im not loosing hope. Please guys include us to your prayer. I did everything that I could to expedite our case but still no luck .

For what its worth, my friend was put on AR because of NBI clearance. It took 6 weeks for her visa to be released and she's now here in the US. Keep your spirits high... I think it will help more if you will keep on following up about your case.
