NVC - ACRO Police Certificate No Live Trace upload question

Hello,

 

I have a No Live Trace ACRO police certificate for two shoplifting offences when I was 12 years old (over 15 years ago). When I upload my police certificate during the NVC stage, do I also need to upload a copy of my Subject Access Report and the page that came with my police certificate detailing the two offences that have been “stepped down” - or just save these for the London interview?

I’d upload and also present at the interview. Covered both options then.

 

How long did it take to receive your police report?

You must upload them. As well as the general checklist, don’t forget the country specific one for the UK! That says the SAR must be included - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/UnitedKingdom.html

@Tesco thank you! My certificate only took two weeks from submission to receiving it in the post. It was quick! They say it can take up to 30 days though 🙂

That was fast! So far it’s been a 3 week wait for us. I factored in 30 days, as we’re not submitting until March anyhow. I did read that domestic DBS checks are taking up to 2 months!

Oh wow. That has made my day. I submitted my application eleven days ago. Hope everything goes well with your visa interview.
