Questions regarding I-751 at VSC

Our I-751 package was received at VSC on July 27 (just in time before the fee increase) and the CR expires at the end of August.

1. When can we expect to get the NOA1?

2. If the NOA1 is not received before the expiry of CR, is that a problem?

3. We have a baby born to the marriage as documented with the application. Are such cases adjudicated quicker than the others?

4. The forum has several posts that recommend what appears to be a preponderance of documentation to establish evidence of relationship. What is the least that people have gotten approval based on, particularly at VSC, and those who have children born to the marriage?

Thanks.

1. VSC is taking up to 45 days to log in your I-751 and getting the NOA-1 back into your hands. As long as they have it, I would not worry about the expiration of your CGC.

2. Congratulations on the baby! This will not adjudicate your case, but will give wonderful evidence that you have a real marriage.

3. Welcome to the VCS waiting room. So far as I have seen, it is taking about 6 months to process I-751s at VSC.

Good luck.
