Infopass for EAD

Hi everyone,I hope that you had a good weekend and did not spend all your time on this website

I am currently waiting on my EAD. Do I have to wait the full 90 days (assuming I don't get it approved then) before I can make an appointment with Infopass to check up on the status of it?

Can I, for example, when it is at 70 or 80 days schedule an Infopass appointment?

I would personally think that if you go to Infopass before the 90 days is up they would tell you to wait until your EAD is past 90 days to inquire, but that is just what I'm assuming. That's why there is a 90 day processing time in the first place, not a 70 or 80 day processing time I don't know if they give out the interim EAD if you are over 90 days anymore or not, it seems like I've read different things about that. I do know I've read of people ending up having to wait more than 90 days, hopefully that won't be your case.

They don't give out interim EADs any more at the DOs. They put in a request to the NBC to expedite your EAD application or issue an interim EAD by mail.

That's what I thought (that they didn't give them out anymore).
