Mumbai consulate - interview questions for mother of a US citizen

Has anyones mom been to Mumbai consulate for ir5 interview (GC for parent of a us citizen)?

 

If so, can you please help with what questions were asked? 

 

Also what did they wear- sari/ Punjabi suit should be ok?

Does your mother speak English? The consulate can provide an interpreter too.  For family preferences, not too many questions are asked. Usually the normal greetings and a question or two about the petitioner’s address. The review of the uploaded documents was already completed and a few questions about that may be asked if there is a mismatch between the previously uploaded documents and the originals that your mom has taken with her.

 

Regarding the dress code - There is none. Anything your mom is comfortable in. Saree is fine too!
